Information Between Cats handles

• Your records: household and cat labels, resources, observations, stages, notes, and optional photos.
• Sharing information: caregiver membership and opaque identifiers required for private CloudKit sharing.
• Purchase state: the verified StoreKit entitlement state needed to unlock paid features. The developer does not receive payment-card details.
• Preferences: reminder settings and coarse, content-free product events stored only on your device.

Where information is stored

Records and selected photos are stored in the app's protected storage on your device. When iCloud is available, the app uses Apple's private or shared CloudKit databases to sync records and fulfill a caregiver share you create. A caregiver receives access only through that Apple CloudKit share.

How information is used

Between Cats uses your information only to provide app functionality: capture and correction, source-traceable summaries, private sync and sharing, reminders, purchase entitlement, factual PDF creation, export, and recovery.

Between Cats does not sell personal information, serve advertisements, track you across apps or websites, send content-level analytics, or use observations to diagnose, infer intent, score risk, or prescribe care.

Photos, reminders, and purchases

Photos are added only when you select them through Apple's photo picker. Reminders are optional and use generic text. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit; Between Cats receives only the transaction and entitlement information required to verify access.

Your controls and retention

You can edit or delete observations, remove caregiver access, export your records, delete local app data, or request deletion from iCloud using the controls in Between Cats. Temporary export files use protected storage and are removed after sharing, cancellation, failure, or stale-file cleanup. CloudKit and StoreKit records may also be retained by Apple under your Apple account and Apple's policies.

Privacy choices and contact

Open Between Cats and go to Household → Privacy practices or Household → Data controls to review your options. For a privacy or support question, email dubious.abyss_4y@icloud.com. If an email app does not open, copy that address into your preferred email app. Do not include private app content in a public issue.
